New home for the president of Nepal but no home for Earthquake victim

Nepal's President Bidhya Devi Bhandari  has shifted to the new palace built by the Nepal Government where as on contrary the same Nepal government has not been able to distribute the billions which it  received for the reconstruction and rehabilitation program of earthquake victims of April 25 devastating earthquake. After 2 years people are still waiting for the money where the Nepal government leaders are still playing politics in the name of victims and the issue.

I think this is one of the most satirical issue where thousands of earthquake victims are living under the sky with temporary zinc sheet and the head of the state is shifting to a fully furnished luxury palace. such a pitty !

Following a safety assessment, technicians put red stickers to the rear part of the residence.
Nepal’s Rastrapati Bhawan, was declared unsafe for use by a technical team after the building developed cracks due to the devastating earthquake of  April 25 2015

The president was living in a prefab home built in the compound of sheetal niwas

Shame on you President Bidhya Devi Bhandari

It has been reported and pictures have surfaced in various social media about the Nepal Army assistance picking up shoes of president Bidhay Devi Bhandari and her family members. It is not just once that this has been witnessed but pictures of various occasions have surfaced showcasing Nepal Army personnel picking up shoes of the president and her family.

The Nepal Army has been proving the president with various level staff for various purpose in terms of proving assistance and support towards the position. But the pictures that are surfacing are telling different stories of  orthodox mentality and how these people are exploited in the name of their daily work.

We live in 21st  century where equality is the basis of our human rights. Making people work inhumanly highlighting low respect and treating them with discrimination is a crime.

No matter what they are civil servants and they should be respected not just as an individual but for the organization that they represent. by such acts, it clearly shows the lack of political culture and orthodox mentality that still resided in the political hemisphere of Nepal.

Bidhay Devi Bhandari may prove to be the first woman President of Nepal but she fails to be a true leaders who has no respect for a civil servant and a poor Nepali.

Shame on you Mrs President

President donates her first salary to Pashupatinath: Is she insane ?

Right now when the country is facing a crisis situation of people dying in various parts of Nepal due to lack of warm cloths and blankets. The president of Nepal, Bidhya Devi Bhandari donated her first salary to Pashupatinath Fund. It was her personal money and there is no definition to what is right or wrong in terms of its use but morally it sound pretty not convincing about her donating the money just for the sake of doing a pooja.

In every aspect when the Nepal government is not able to perform about managing the construction process, the president's action surely reflects the lack of concern towards the general public.

It is really sad when at times of need people who have powers turn a blind eye towards issues of concern, everyday there are deaths reported due to cold in the earthquake hit regions and our president is donating her money not for buying blankets but for doing pooja in pashupatinath.

Sad reality but it certainly show how Nepali political culture believes in showcasing than in putting actions. what could be More valuable and divine than to donate blankets for the shivering people in the cold or doing pooja at pashupatinath. May be its her choice and her money but there could be a  reasonable answer to it.

She is the first Feminist communist president of  the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal which practices a secularism and she has been hugely criticized for this act  in social media by the public.
