Ban the Military Grade Guns from public reach

United States(US) has always been very liberal and open  about its gun policy. Every now and then there has always been a great debate about the gun policy  and its regulation. Similarly, every time when there is an event of mass massacre or killing, the issue of public access of Arms has always confronted the public policy of US with a hard hitting punch of reality where it has been escaping the issue under the scope and role of personal security.

It's a sad reality but US government has been ignoring the reality behind the fact that more and more people are getting killed due to easy access of Arms and ammunition than any other cause.

Looking at the mentality of people in US, the point of being safe with a gun is more prized then the point of guns falling into the wrong hands which is more vulnerable  seems radically ignored. I am not an expert in management of legal arms and ammunition  and its law but I feel the public should have limitation and regulation in terms of  access to the military grade weapon. I mean to say its military grade that is optimized for maximum performance which needs to be understood and researched. There is no point in arguing whether there is a right to security or not but giving access to the public to military grade arms is something like giving ticking time bomb to a kid.

The Orlando shooting in the pulse restaurant is yet another example of weakness of the limitation of gun policy. Omar Mateen, used an AR-15  a military grade assault rifle to kill 49 people,  and 53 more sustaining injuries. As of now report suggest Mateen legally purchased the two guns used in the attack from a shop in Port St. Lucie two weeks before the shooting.

I believe US being the most powerful country is vulnerable when its comes to its internal policies, it need to open up in terms of standardizing the policy and facilitate the public with the priority of security only.
